Pack Trips were coveted activities for individuals, families and large groups. Some trips were overnight, some lasted over two weeks. Each guest or dude rode their own horse. Wranglers were guides and responsible for setting up/taking down camp, cooking, and attending to the needs of all animals though many guest were happy to help with daily chores. Despite the pre-trip inventory list and good intentions, sometimes forgotten were food items, matches, and tents leaving dudes and wranglers to be resourceful on the trail.
